Leviathan Chronicles : Finale Release!
If you haven’t yet checked out Leviathan Chronicles, you’re missing out on something very cool!
A sci-fi action drama with a unique and interesting premise, Leviathan stands right beside CotG in terms of all around quality. From the voices, to the music, to the sound effects, it’s all too easy to get wrapped up in the story from the very first episode!
They’ve recently released their season finale, along with an all-new site that is a huge improvement over the old one, so if you’re looking to get into a heck of a listening bender, now is the perfect time to pop over there and snag the whole “season”!
(Don’t forget to check back here now and then, though. We’ve got some release lovins of our own coming down the pipe real soon!)
Chapter 10-2 is NOW LIVE! 03.10.10
It’s been a long wait, but I think it was worth it this time around. The music is a welcome and stunning addition to the show. Great work, Tim!
Thanks to each and every one of you who have waited so patiently, and especially to those who weren’t quite so patient! >_<
Also, great big HUGE thanks to those who donated to the show, even during this huge pause in production! Your generosity has allowed me to replace that crappy Chinese knockoff mic with a better one, which will help shave some more time off production, since I won’t have to clean the audio so much now! :)

Live, from Las Vegas!!
Your friendly neighborhood Weasel has finally plunked down in Las Vegas! Man, what a city! HUGE thanks to you folks who cared enough to lob a few bucks my way! Without your help, I’d be one broke dude for the next week or so. As it is, I’ve got something to fall back on for the bare necessities as I get things in order. Thank you very very much, one and all! \o/
The studio is back up and running, and attention on the show will resume in just a few more days. For now, I’ve got lots of schoolin’ to undertake for the new job.
In the meantime, I’m keeping pics that I take during my forays into town online. You can keep an eye on them here, as I add to them.

Stay tuned! :)
Chapter 11 Update – 12.11.09
- Redline’s voice is in! Ali sent her part over to me a couple of weeks or so back, and it’s tucked away safely with the rest of the existing chapter raw files.
- Adam Ketterman, voiced by JMack, should be arriving very soon.
- Commander Marshall is still off somewhere, busting some Skinny chops belowdecks, apparently. I’ll be trying to get a hold of him as soon as he surfaces again.
- Ender Lead (aka “Fireball”), a part that I’ve been very keen to get filled properly, may simply be a little too much to ask someone else to fill. It’s the kind of role that will eventually require a great deal of effort on the voice actor’s part to get down just right, but it’s also the kind of voicing that’s difficult to do in just a couple of takes. In other words, I’m concerned that it’s probably not possible for somebody else to get it down just so, without getting stressed out with me hovering around, nit-picking their efforts left and right. With that in mind, I’m going to attempt to take on the role myself. It’ll mean a bit more work for me in production, (to ensure that he sounds as far from my normal self as possible), but I’m confident I can pull it off without too much fuss.
That being said, if you think you’d like to give him a shot anyway, check out the scripts for 11 and 12 on the Coming Episodes page. If you think you can pull off his scene in 12, then by all means lay it on me! Throw some samples down and send it to info@childrenofthegods.net!
Meanwhile, Tim informs me that he’s making some good progress on the music for the final action scene in 10-2. As I mentioned before, once he’s done with it, it’s a simple matter of merging his work with the project and tweaking all the levels one final time, then it’s time for release!
Forging onward!
Chapter 11 Update – 11.22.09
I recently received the voice work for Kyrie “Redline” Galos, which is absolutely necessary for the first 1/4 of Chapter 11. Now currently standing by for GT’s Commander Marshall to cap off the first scene!
Meanwhile, effects and other miscellaneous production chores are in-progress.
EDIT : There are still some parts that are auditioning for Chapter 11, most notable among them is Ender Lead, callsign “Fireball”. His part only lasts a couple of chapters, but his last appearance will be a bit… shall we say “strenuous” for any who dare to take on his part. See Chapter 11’s entry in SunDance if you’re interested in trying out!
