Fido is still pretty new to this whole individuality thing, so hasn’t gotten the hang of putting names to faces yet, even though he recognizes why they’re important to us.  Fortunately, it’s only him and me in this little parade of insanity of ours.  So even though I can’t pick up on the nuances that would normally allow the Tarthet to recognize who’s actually being addressed with such a broad term, when he says “y’nalsa”, everybody (on our side, at least) knows who he’s referring or speaking to.
